                Cook Park Commmunity Garden

At Ashgrove garden, young families garden beside senior citizens, and Afghani cucumbers grow in plots next to Korean hot chilis and Vietnamese bok choy.

 Why We Love Our Garden:

 Community Events:
Although they come from different backgrounds and locations, Ashgrove gardeners find they have a lot to share with one another. Gardeners often trade produce and sample foods that they would not usually have in their diets.  Rocky Mountain School for Expeditionary Learning uses the garden to teach hands-on environmental lessons, and weekly donations of food are made to Project Angel Heart. Also, students from local schools have painted murals and contributed artwork, including ceramic pottery.

Come garden at Ashgrove and join a community that values diversity!
