The unique patterns and shapes in this garden are highlighted by the beautiful flower garden and flourishing rose bushes. These are just a part of the pleasant view that can be seen at Courthouse Square Garden.

 Why We Love Our Garden:

 Community Events:
The residents at Courthouse Square not only take special care of their garden, but of each other as

well. For instance, the more experienced gardeners are more than happy to help a lending hand to those novice and eager to learn. They find that working together and sharing garden knowledge benefits each individual and the garden as a whole. With the combination of outstanding personalities and hard workers they are able to grow delicious strawberries, geraniums and most of all a community of friends.

The garden is located within a low-income housing facility, Courthouse Square, which serves over 150 seniors and physically challenged residents. The garden has been built with raised beds and wide pathways to accommodate those with wheelchairs and walkers. It is hoped that the garden meets the needs of the residents, including opportunities to improve their physical health through gardening and healthy food, as well as, their mental health and sense of community.
