For several years, this school garden has provided a place for school children to connect classroom lessons with hands-on experience.  

 Why We Love Our Garden:

Ellis garden was started with PTA interest in 1999 and was originally available for school use only. In 2002, Denver Urban Gardens helped to redesign the garden and open it to community involvement.  There is a recently renovated pavilion, improved pathways, and convenient water faucets.  This garden attracts a diverse group of participants, including families from all over the world.
