There are more than tomatoes growing at the Park Hill garden.  Gardeners here are excited by the thought of using the space as a gathering place and location for community theatre in the future.

 Why We Love Our Garden:

Gardening is more of an art than a labor at Park Hill.  Gardeners love to play with all the colors, shapes, and textures that plants can provide.  They are only limited by their imaginations.  Even Shakespeare will find a place here: performances are planned to take place beneath the new arbor.  The question is, can he compete with the kids?  They sometimes put on performances of their own, such as garden charades.

Come and walk this garden’s meandering pathways and enjoy the mosaic layout.  Pick an apple in the mini orchard and discover the Colorado garden, which is dedicated to all things local, especially wild native grasses. Please bring a picnic, because this is not just a place to grow vegetables and flowers; it’s a gathering place and a classroom.  You might even run into the school children and teachers who regularly come here for hands-on environmental education.
