               Quigg Newton Community Garden
Quigg01.JPG

This community garden is dedicated to providing fresh fruits and vegetables to local Quigg-Newton residents.

 Why We Love Our Garden:
quigg - boy
For several years, this “giving garden” has donated all of its harvest to local food shelters and families.  In addition to vegetable plots, apple and peach trees provide fresh fruit for local residents.  Quigg-Newton is now looking for neighborhood residents who might be interested in cultivating their own plots for personal produce and possible community donations.

The Boys and Girls Club has long been active in helping with the planting, weeding and harvesting of community plots.  The garden provides the neighborhood youth with an opportunity to get their hands dirty, learn new skills and give back to the surrounding community.  In the past, local seniors have also helped tend herb and vegetable plots.  Quigg-Newton would love your help tending the communal plots or cultivating your own bit of soil.  Join this garden and enjoy the generous rose garden, communal patio area, and perennial flowerbeds!
