 Why We Love Our Garden:
S Grant4.JPG
Although South Grant Garden is located on a busy street, it is protected from the noise and has become a nice retreat from the bustle of urban living.  This quaint, traditional urban garden serves neighborhood residents, especially the residents of the nearby apartment complex.  All ages garden here and help to care for a communal flower plot and pumpkin patch.  Gardeners enjoy a picnic area in addition to their plots.  This year, a new composting operation will help to process all the garden waste into a wealth of compost to use onsite.  Denver Presbyterian, headquarters for all Presbyterian churches in the Denver area, has donated land for this site.
