In this workshop, we\u2019ll explore a framework to develop a deliberate connection with the botanical world by drawing the plant structures of seedlings in various plant families. Taking inspiration from the early season plantings of a local garden, you\u2019ll leave this workshop with the skills and knowledge to unveil the secrets of the natural wonder and beauty that is all around us.<\/p>\n<p>What to Bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sketchbook, 6\u201d x 9\u201d or larger<\/li>\n<li>Pencil or fine permanent marker<\/li>\n<li>Colored pencils (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Taught by Gigia Kolouch with Nature Journal Denver, an enthusiastic group of community garden lovers dedicated to exploring urban gardens through art. Nature journaling is a powerful method of helping you see the world, whether you are a novice or experienced artist. Additional art supplies will be available for shared use.
