Community gardens are for people of all ages, regardless of whether they\u2019re on a school property or not! In this session, we\u2019ll explore how to create welcoming, positive experiences for kids while supporting a fruitful garden environment for everyone. We\u2019ll share ideas for engaging children in meaningful ways and discuss common challenges such as garden damage, safety concerns, and boundaries. We will also practice a few therapeutic garden activities for all ages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DUG\u2019s Garden Leader Sessions are open to all current Garden Leaders and Steering Committee Members. Prospective leaders can join by request. This session will be hosted at the Samuels Elementary Community Garden.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
