Fall may be coming, but the growing season isn’t over!
Join Denver Urban Gardens at our annual Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, August 20th from 10am-2pm at The Posner Center to get our favorite organic cool-season seedlings, as well as organic cover crop seeds, garlic, straw, and compost–everything you’ll need to put your garden to bed at the end of the growing season.
The SAME Café food truck will also be on site, as well as booths from our partner organizations. Come hungry and ready to learn about other awesome sustainability-focused organizations!
Not sure how to grow a fall garden in Colorado?
We’ve got you covered with two free mini-workshops to learn everything you need to know to have a successful fall garden, as well as kids activities to get the whole family involved.
Denver Urban Gardens and its staff and board honor the land on the unceded territories of the Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), Hinono’eino’ biito’owu’ (Arapaho), Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, as well as 48+ other tribes with ties to this region.
May our stewardship of this land support the collective work to dismantle ongoing legacies of oppression and inequities as well as recognize the current and future contributions of indigenous communities.
