Description

This garden used to be Triangle Park in the heart of the homeless services in the area, and was turned into a community garden in 2014.

Eddie Maestas Community Garden brings the community together in a place where criminal activity is high. Gardeners focus on cultivating vegetables that are purely organic and free of GMO’s. Located in downtown Denver, the garden is beneficial, not only to the gardeners, but also to the bees in a place where flowers populations are low. Excess food goes towards the building as well as to friends in the community. The garden is therapeutic for those who use this garden.
