Elati Community Garden

Address
840 Elati St.

Neighborhood
Lincoln Park

Established
1997

Facebook

Tucked away off Speer Blvd and 8th Ave, Elati Community Garden is all about community. Located in a low social-economic area, community members take advantage of the garden and often visit it to get away from chaos in the neighborhood. A basket filled with freshly cultivated vegetable is set out front for community members to take whenever they need some. Community garden barbeques are held where people play games, drink, plant vegetables, watch the sunset and bond with one another. Whether you are an active gardener or just living in the neighborhood, Elati Community Garden is the space to connect with neighbors and host fun, outdoor events.
