Garden Court Community Garden

Address
1150 Syracuse St.

Neighborhood
East Colfax

Established
2009

The Garden Court Community Garden primarily serves the residents of Garden Court, one of eight Rocky Mountain Communities, a non-profit that provides affordable housing and resident services to help their tenants succeed. The garden is a favorite of the residents, boasting a full, productive garden that is lovingly tended to each year, with excess produce being shared with other residents of Garden Court. This garden is especially meaningful to the refugee and immigrant populations of the garden, who otherwise may not have access to fresh produce. One of their garden leaders states that “The garden has been such a boon to the residents. They love the garden, and the food that they are able to grow. It’s also great to see people from different countries working together in the garden.”
