Description

From the top of lookout mountain to highway 93, the bike path and highway 58—anyone passing through golden can see the beautiful garden grow in abundance throughout the season! Golden’s Community Garden is a place where families come for picnics, to browse the beautiful flowers and butterfly garden and get to know native plants. Every year the garden strengthens and people of all ages come together, sharing in their love of the soil and growing their own food.

With over 70 plots, the Golden Community Garden creates a beautiful green space for the gardeners and the community alike to enjoy nature’s bounty and engage in meaningful conversation. They often have happy hours under the garden pavilion, block parties with garden-grown potlucks, and deliver bouquets to local businesses with flowers from our cut-flower garden. In addition to providing produce for individual gardeners, this garden has devoted space to growing produce for a local food bank. Golden really has something special here! For more information about getting a plot at the Golden Community Garden, please visit their website here.
