448 N. Golfers Way
Flourishing against the odds, Golfer’s Way Community Garden has become a source of pride for those gardening there. Thanks to fantastic garden leadership and dedicated residents, this mostly-communal garden has provided for the residents’ food bank, as well as provided a focal point and gathering place for residents to build community with their neighbors. Favorite crops are collards, potatoes and carrots, and gardeners encourage their neighbors to help themselves, noting that the crops are plentiful enough to be shared. Golfer’s Way Community Garden is not open to the public.
