Johnson School Community Garden

Address
1850 S. Irving St.

Neighborhood
Mar Lee

Established
2009

The Johnson School Community Garden is cared for by parents of students and community volunteers who put a lot of love into their plots. Throughout the garden, student-created artwork can be seen at every turn. Gardeners want to emphasize the importance of teaching children to love and respect nature, even in urban settings. They are very proud to have a garden at Johnson School.
