Description
Rose Roots Community Garden is committed to creating roots and is focused on sustainability, education outreach, and community. Events such as A Day in the Dirt and potlucks help to foster this sense of community among this group of compassionate gardeners, skilled volunteers, and local farmers. Rose Roots Community Garden is also dedicated to finding its place in the local community and do so by promoting and supporting projects such as Garden to Cafeteria and Plant a Row for the Hungry, a program that facilitates the donation of extra produce to local food banks.
