Shoshone Community Garden

Address
3250 Shoshone Street

Neighborhood
Highland

Established
1984

Shoshone Community Garden, one of the founding DUG gardens, is a welcoming garden with arms open, inviting in not just gardeners, butĀ also the surrounding neighbors, children and other community members. This community believes that the process of growing something, especially food, can be extremely beneficial in countless ways and that doing so is a fantastic way to spend time outside and reconnect with the natural environment. Shoshone Community Garden provides the younger generation with the opportunity to learn about gardening, as many members of the garden act as unofficial mentors.
