Dating back to 1979, West Washington Park Community Garden (WWPCG) is a community garden dedicated to sustainable organic gardening, education, and community. Currently, the garden has over 100 gardeners growing on 75 plots. Novice gardeners and master gardeners/composters come together annually to share the love of gardening from February to October.

WWPCG is located in the West Wash Park Neighborhood, across from the Art Student League of Denver at 2nd and Grant.

Gardeners at WWPCG strive to share their love of gardening and food to the community. They host public events during the year and have a hugely successful garden-wide composting system. They are also pioneering a garden-wide food donation system. Many of the community gardeners also mentor new gardeners, teach classes, and graciously donate their produce.
