Spring Plant Sale

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our traditional Spring Plant Sale on May 8th & 9th. DUG remains deeply committed – now more than ever – to providing our community with the plants & seeds you need to be successful this growing season.

DUG is regenerating a movement to mobilize the community to grow food as our civic duty in response to the global pandemic. As we work to reimagine our Spring Plant Sale, DUG is thrilled to announce we will be offering To-Grow Boxes Garden Kits! This garden kit contains 20 seedlings & 10 seed packets of nutrient-dense vegetables, a plot plan designed by our very own Michael Buchenau — Senior Landscape Architect — and education materials in both English and Spanish for how to maximize production and have a thriving garden.

These kits can be used in community garden plots, your backyard growing space, and even containers! To-Grow Boxes will be available for order online and distributed through no-contact drive-thru sites across Metro Denver for easy access and for the safety of our community.

…and, for every To-Grow Box that’s purchased, we’re distributing 4 more to community members struggling with food insecurity. If you are looking for additional ways to help during this time, we are encouraging our network or gardeners to start seeds for themselves and neighbors.

Stay tuned to your inbox & our website for more information!
