Garden Leader & Tree Keeper Training: Drip Irrigation Training

Timers are not allowed in DUG gardens and food forests, but drip irrigation and soaker systems are! We recommend drip irrigation to distribute water directly and evenly to the roots of your plants. You’ll save time and water, too. However, these systems need to be installed correctly in order to achieve these results. Come learn at a hands on session hosted by DUG’s field team where we’ll talk through installation, repair, and trouble shooting.
This session is available for all DUG Garden Leaders, Steering Committee Members, and Tree Keepers. Prospective leaders can join by request. This session will be hosted at the Ute Trail Food Forest, which does not have indoor access. Our team will be in touch for an inclement weather plan, if necessary.
