Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Martinez Park
Registration to attend the ribbon cutting is not required – to volunteer at the tree planting you must sign up here
Join Denver Urban Gardens (DUG) for the opening of our newest growing site, Martinez Park Community Garden (4051 W 9th Ave, Denver, CO 80204), a combination of community garden, food forest, and sensory garden. We’ll bring together community members and partner organizations to co-create a greener, more resilient Denver.
Event Schedule
- 9am-12pm: Tree Planting Volunteer Event (registration is required!)
- 12pm-2pm: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
This event is free and in partnership with Denver Parks & Recreation, the Villa Park Neighborhood Association, and Denver’s West Area Plan.
Please note that there is limited street parking (free and paid) and the space is not wheelchair accessible.
