Our 2024 Spring Plant sale was the biggest yet! We shut down a street to fit dozens of vendors and community partners, sold PLENTY of plants, and spent time with our neighboring community.
DUG’s Spring Plant Sale is a part of our food access programming meant to support low-cost access to organic gardening materials, from bilingual education to seedlings and even gardening tools. Plus, SNAP recipients were able to get food-producing plants for FREE!
This annual event is attended by over a thousand Denver residents and is a wonderful launch into the gardening season, coinciding with Mother’s Day and after Denver metro’s last frost date. If you missed this event, our Summer Plant Sale is hosted in August and is a great way to learn how to extend your gardening season, explore succession gardening, and get your garlic early!
