Join us for a summer garden walking tour with Denver Urban Gardens. Explore the urban green spaces in various neighborhoods across metro Denver where food, community, and climate come together. These free walking tours will be led by a DUG staff member or community advocate!
We’ll visit the following DUG community gardens:
- Horsebarn (1118 33rd Street, Denver, CO 80205)
- Cole (1350 E. 33rd Ave., Denver, CO 80205)
- Bruce Randolph ( 1402 Bruce Randolph Ave, Denver, CO 80205)
- 36th & Lafayette (3600 Lafayette Street, Denver, CO 80205)
Total Distance: 1.1 miles
Led by:
- Linda Appel Lipsius, Executive Director
- Nessa Mogharreban, Senior Director of Partnerships
What to Bring:
- Layers and/or rain gear
- A filled reusable water bottle (as we may not have access to refill stations during the tour)
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Anything else you need to feel comfortable during the hour-long walking tour
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
