Love all things fizzy beverages? Then you don’t want to miss this class! We dive into the power of wild yeast and how to make light, refreshing beverages using seasonal fruit, herbs, and flowers from the garden. Learn how to make flavored shrubs, ginger beer, and fruit-forward kombuchas.
During this hands-on two-hour workshop, you will learn:
- Safety and sanitation practices to ensure success.
- Basics of wild yeast fermentation using fresh fruit, flowers, herbs, and a ginger bug.
- Skills to work with kombucha SCOBY cultures.
- Step-by-step hands-on instructions and what to expect as these beverages ferment at home.
