Workshop Costs & Fees

We use a sliding-scale fee system to advance equity in our educational offerings. When booking a class (or multiple), please refer to the table to determine projected cost.

Reducing Food Waste with Composting

This workshop sets the scene with a current snapshot of food waste statistics nationally and locally. We’ll discuss strategies for change at a household level as well as composting as a last resort and how even an apartment dweller can compost and make an impact. Other topics include the science behind a backyard compost pile and other options that are budget and earth-friendly.

Regenerative Agriculture Techniques: Working in Harmony with the Earth

Learn the principles of working with nature through regenerative agriculture as we explore composting, mulching, water-wise practices, and the magic of vermicomposting. Vermicomposting – Kitchen Scraps to Black Gold

This workshop explores all the benefits and joys of composting with worms! Indoor worm bins allow us to divert organic waste from the landfill all year round and are a great way to convert kitchen waste into compost. Whether you want to start a worm bin in the office, a classroom, or in your own home, this workshop will review the basics of vermicomposting and demystify the wonderful world of worms!
