DUG is thrilled to share that staff members Nessa and Osiris recently participated in the Sustaining Pathway, a three-session leadership and capacity-building program offered by the Rose Community Foundation.
The Sustaining Pathway is designed to empower nonprofit leaders with practical tools and strategies to strengthen organizational sustainability, deepen impact, and cultivate resilient leadership. Over the course of three interactive sessions, Nessa and Osiris explored topics ranging from resource development and strategic planning to community engagement and organizational culture.
“This program was an incredible opportunity to reflect on our work, connect with peers across the nonprofit sector, and bring back new ideas to strengthen DUG’s programs and community impact,” said Osiris.
By participating in the Sustaining Pathway, Nessa and Osiris are not only enhancing their professional development but also ensuring that Denver Urban Gardens continues to thrive as a cornerstone of Denver’s urban agriculture and community gardening network.
DUG extends sincere gratitude to the Rose Community Foundation for providing this valuable learning opportunity and for supporting local nonprofits in their mission to create vibrant, equitable communities.
