For the first time ever, we’ve run out of seeds in May!
DUG’s Community Seed Distribution program offers 100,000 seed packets (and 66 million seeds) to Denverites for free.
This program typically begins at the end of February each year and invites community members to visit the DUG office for pickup of 375+ varieties of herb, flower, and veggie seeds until they run out.
During winter, we have volunteers support our seed sorting events to ensure our bins are organized for all to enjoy.
This year, we had the LARGEST seed donations AND we RAN OUT of seeds in early May, the earliest we’ve ever closed the program for the season!
