REGISTER HERE
Join DUG’s Director of Therapeutic Gardens to learn about different adaptive gardening techniques to try in the garden to build an inclusive and accessible environment. This Garden Leader training will talk through small changes in gardening habits that we can make to accommodate a gardener’s physical needs, regardless of age or gardening experience. We’ll talk through adaptive styles for pruning, planting, sitting, watering, and using tools.
DUG’s Garden Leader Sessions are open to all current Garden Leaders and Steering Committee Members. Prospective leaders can join by request. This session will be hosted at the Horse Barn Community Garden, across the street from the DUG headquarters.
