Garden Leader Training: Budgeting

Community gardens and food forests thrive when there is a clear plan for how resources are raised and used. In this workshop, we’ll explore simple tools for creating and managing a garden budget, identifying common expenses, and planning ahead for the season. We’ll also share some creative fundraising ideas and the process for doing that as a site operating under Denver Urban Gardens. Participants will discuss what has worked at their sites, learn from each other, and leave with strategies to help their garden stay financially healthy and resilient.
This session is available for all DUG Garden Leaders, Steering Committee Members, and Tree Keepers. Prospective leaders can join by request.
