This year’s Gather ‘Round gala was a wonderful celebration of the summer harvest and community impact. We brought together 400 of our community and corporate partners, volunteer Garden Leaders + Tree Keepers, and supporters of DUG.
Together, we elevated the work of three community partners who represent DUG’s pillars of food, community, and climate: Fresh Food Connect; Denver’s West Area Plan; and the Denver Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency.
Our VIP guests enjoyed a champagne toast in celebration of our joint impact. Once the rest of our guests entered our incredible space at ReelWorks in RiNo, the party got started. We reveled in a delicious plant-based dinner from The Easy Vegan with incredible service provided by Snoozers, sipped delicious drinks from Grüvi, The Infinite Monkey Theorum, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. With the support of our emcee, Janelle Finch from 9News, our programming went over smoothly. Our guests learned more about DUG’s successes in 2024, and our plans for the coming years, including building various community gardens and food forests in Denver’s West Area, launching legacy giving at DUG, and introducing an endowment fund (more coming soon!). We were proud that our community was lively during our live auction and paddle raise, helping DUG with our fundraising goals.
