Over 300 garden leaders and tree keepers came together to support the season’s launch.
This year’s DUG Symposium, on February 21, 2026, focused on food access and security in Metro Denver. To align with community needs and global trends, we are prioritizing community-driven problem-solving and food sovereignty.
Our Garden Leaders and Tree Keepers engaged in different learning tracks to personalize support and training to their volunteer roles. From learning technical skills on irrigation to discussing conflict resolution, there was a host of offerings to choose from. “My favorite was the regional session, where I connected with gardens close to mine. We’re going to each other’s meetings to get ideas and share feedback”, one Garden Leader said.
Overall, we’re looking forward to a season of learning, growing, and connecting in community.
