This has been a year of pivots at DUG. With the loss of federal funding requiring program realignments, DUG’s mission holds stronger than ever – to provide the skills, access and resources to grow healthy food in community and regenerate urban green spaces.

At DUG, we’re cultivating food, community, and climate resilience across the Front Range, hand in and with our community: gardeners, tree keepers, community composters, students, and partners.  So we’re leaning into that collective strength today, on DAF Day— let’s turn volatility into momentum to ensure every neighborhood across metro Denver thrives.

Today, your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) can help seed the season ahead.

DAFs are Donor-Advised Funds, which allow you to make tax-deductible contributions when circumstances warrant and defer allocation until you are ready. Ask your sponsoring institution to send your donation to Denver Urban Gardens.

When you give to DUG, your DAF will:

  • Keep our 200+ community gardens and food forests thriving
  • Support sensory & therapeutic spaces for groups who need them most
  • Provide access to free & low-cost seeds, seedlings, and educational resources to new gardeners
  • Ensure the DUG staff can continue doing the supporting a thriving metro Denver.
