This year’s annual gala, Gather ‘Round, has been our best yet!
Gather ‘Round, DUG’s annual gala that celebrates community achievements & the growing season’s end, was the best one we’ve had.
Over 400 partners and community members came together to celebrate the incredible work within the DUG network. Groups like YellowDog, TIAA, and CoBank showed up in teams to show their generous support of the work we do.
The evening started off with attendees sipping delicious drinks (including this year’s signature drink, the Rosemary “Judy” featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka) and perusing the silent auction table. Once programming began, everyone sat to enjoy words by DUG’s Board of Directors and Executive Director before diving into their multi-course plant-based dinner by The Easy Vegan. We celebrated DUG’s Impact Awardees as well as our inaugural Legacy Honoree Award in honor of our 40th anniversary. To kick off the live auction and paddle raise, our attendees watched this year’s Mission Moment video that highlighted three Garden Leaders across metro Denver. They spoke of the legacy of DUG in the community, the intergenerational connections formed by gardeners, and their hopes for DUG’s future.
We were thrilled at the immense support DUG received during the night. Whether participating in the booze pull, raising their paddles, or winning auction bids, our attendees were ready to make an impact in support of DUG’s next 40 years. We thank you!
