One of DUG’s newest builds is Cedar Park Community Garden & Food Forest in Lakewood, Colorado!

This build combines three elements of DUG growing spaces: community gardens, food forests, and sensory/therapeutic gardens… the FIRST time we’re building a garden with all elements and spaces in the design.

Combining these various elements provides a holistic and inclusive space for community members where they can grow food in their own plots, steward food-producing trees + bushes, and/or engage their senses by connecting to the natural world. This way, everyone is welcome no matter their level of engagement with gardening!

We are incredibly thankful for the various community and corporate groups who have volunteered their time to help us build this space so it’s ready for use later this summer.
